Concept Descriptions

Strategy

A high-level plan or approach designed to achieve long-term goals or objectives within an organization. It serves as the guiding framework that aligns various initiatives and efforts across the business to ensure consistent progress toward overarching business aims.

Initiative

A targeted effort or project that supports the execution of a strategy. Initiatives break down the strategy into actionable components and are designed to achieve specific outcomes that contribute to strategic goals.

Milestone

A significant point or event in the timeline of an initiative that marks progress. Milestones track important stages in the execution of a project, acting as checkpoints to assess progress and make adjustments if needed.

Task

A specific, actionable item assigned to an individual or a team, contributing to the completion of an initiative or the achievement of a milestone. Tasks are detailed, with set deadlines and requirements, helping to organize the work required to progress within an initiative.

Tag

A label or keyword used for organizing and categorizing elements (e.g., strategies and initiatives) within the platform. Tags facilitate filtering, searching, and grouping of related items, improving navigation and tracking.

Owner

The person responsible for overseeing and ensuring the successful completion of a strategy, initiative, milestone, or task. The owner is accountable for progress, decision-making, and reporting outcomes.

Contributor

An individual or team member who participates in executing a task or initiative but does not have primary ownership. Contributors collaborate with the owner and other team members to fulfill assigned objectives and support overall progress.

Subscriber

A person who follows a strategy, initiative, or task within the platform to stay informed about its progress. Subscribers receive updates, notifications, or reports but do not directly contribute to the execution or management of the work.
