Welcome to Meddo! This guide will walk you through the initial steps to set up and start using Meddo to align your team’s efforts with your business goals. Let’s get started.

Step 1: Create Structure

The first step is organizing your business. Use Spaces and Tags to build a framework:

  • Spaces: Think of Spaces as containers that represent departments, projects, or key business areas. They help organize and segment your work.

  • Tags: Within each Space, use Tags to categorize and filter strategies, initiatives. Tags make it easy to track specific goals or themes.

By structuring with Spaces and Tags, you’ll create a clear and scalable organization system for your business.

Step 2: Build Your Business Strategies

Once your business is set up, it’s time to define your business objectives and the steps to achieve them:

  1. Define Strategies: Set your long-term goals that align with your business vision.

  2. Break Down Initiatives: Divide strategies into actionable initiatives that guide execution.

  3. Set Milestones: Create milestones to track progress and ensure alignment with timelines.

  4. Optional Tasks: Add tasks to each milestone to provide detailed steps and clarity.

Step 3: Add Your Team Members

Collaboration is key to success. Bring your team into Meddo to start working together:

  1. Invite Members: Add your team members to your Meddo organization.

  2. Assign Roles:

    • Editor: Can contribute by creating and editing strategies, initiatives, milestones, and tasks.

    • Viewer: Has read-only access to view progress and updates.

    • Admin: Responsible for billing and administrative tasks. Each organization can have one Admin.

This structured approach ensures every effort contributes to your company’s long-term success.

Start Simple

No need to overcomplicate things—focus on getting the basics right. Begin with:

  1. Structuring your organization using Tags and Spaces.

  2. Laying out your initial strategies, initiatives, and milestones.

  3. Adding your team and assigning roles.
